1. Introduction and Acceptance

1.3 The Client Intake/History Form together with these Terms constitutes the entire agreement between Shekina Healing and the client whose details are set out in the Client Intake/History Form (the “Client”). The Client agrees to inform Shekina Healing of any changes to the details recorded in the form. The Client must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of services.
1.4 By signing the Client Intake/History Form, the Client agrees, consents, and willingly (without undue influence) authorizes Shekina Healing to provide the agreed services. The Client acknowledges they have received a copy of these Terms, had the opportunity to ask questions prior to signing, and agree to be bound by them.
1.5 The information on our website is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for independent professional advice. Clients should obtain appropriate professional advice relevant to their personal circumstances.
2. Our Services
2.1 Shekina Healing provides holistic wellness services, including but not limited to hypnosis, coaching, and related modalities (the “Services”), at the Client’s request in consideration of the fees payable by the Client (the “Fees”). All services are provided with the Client’s informed consent.
2.2 Services are provided on an “as is” basis. The Client understands the modalities that may be used and acknowledges that results vary, may not meet expectations, and depend on external factors, full participation, and the Client’s degree of engagement.
2.3 Shekina Healing does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or psychotherapy, and does not recommend discontinuing medically prescribed treatments. Clients must not change or cease medications without medical advice. Hypnosis and certain modalities may be contraindicated for some individuals (e.g., due to brain trauma, cognitive deficits). Hypnosis is generally not advisable for individuals with conditions such as borderline personality disorder, dependent personality disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis. Clients with a history of, or who may have, these conditions must consult their primary healthcare provider and obtain a doctor’s referral before seeking our Services.
3. Disclosure
3.1 The Client attests that, in the case of any mental or psychological ailment/disorder or history thereof, they have consulted their medical provider to confirm fitness for the Services, and have made full, frank, true, and accurate disclosure to Shekina Healing. If the Client is found to be in breach of this declaration, Shekina Healing may terminate Services immediately, shall bear no liability for consequences arising from such breach, and may, at its sole discretion, forfeit all Fees paid.
4. Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds
4.1 Fees for Services are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any refund or transfer is at Shekina Healing’s sole discretion.
4.2 Cancellations must be made by written notice at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled Service. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of Fees for that session.
5. Data Collection and Privacy
5.1 The Client agrees to provide the name and contact details of an emergency contact person and confirms they have obtained that person’s consent to provide their personal data to Shekina Healing for emergency purposes.
5.2 Shekina Healing collects personal data (“Personal Data”) for:
- internal administration and record maintenance;
- oral and written communication with the Client;
- sharing, at the Client’s request or where reasonably necessary, with third parties such as healthcare professionals, partners, or contractors on a need-to-know basis;
- promotion and marketing activities (subject to applicable consent requirements); and
- compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court orders.

6. Severe Weather and Force Majeure

7. Website Accounts
7.1 If you create an online account to purchase services or goods (“Account”), you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of your Account or Services.
7.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities under your Account.
7.3 You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your Account.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 All information disclosed between the Client and Shekina Healing in the course of Services is confidential.
8.2 Shekina Healing will not disclose such information to third parties except:
- to employees or contractors of Shekina Healing;
- to a healthcare professional with the Client’s consent;
- to any person authorized by the Client’s written consent; or
- as required to comply with laws, regulations, or court orders.
8.3 Shekina Healing may disclose confidential information when ethically and/or legally required to appropriate authorities, including:
- if the Client indicates they or another person may be in danger;
- in cases of apparent, suspected, or potential child abuse or neglect;
- if the Client reports sexual abuse by a regulated health professional;
- in compliance with court orders or lawful requirements; or
- if the Client’s behavior is abusive or poses a threat or danger to others.
9. Disclaimers and Client Acknowledgements
9.1 The purpose of the Services is to support the Client’s well-being and personal growth. Sessions may involve exploring underlying issues; it is not uncommon for symptoms or emotions to intensify before improvement is experienced.
9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Client releases and forever discharges Shekina Healing, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, consultants, and property owners from any liability, and agrees to indemnify and hold Shekina Healing harmless from all claims, losses, damages, and costs (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the Services, except to the extent caused by Shekina Healing’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9.3 Shekina Healing does not warrant that information on our website is accurate, current, or complete. Clients and users should exercise their own judgment and seek professional advice before relying on any information. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of, reliance on, or interpretation of information on our website.
10. Termination of Services and Accounts
10.1 Shekina Healing may terminate Services at any time at its discretion. The Client may cease Services at any time; however, all pre-purchased sessions/packages are non-refundable.
10.2 Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnities, and limitations of liability.
10.3 We may terminate or suspend your Account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 We may modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will endeavor to provide notice on our website prior to the new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change is determined by us.
11.2 By continuing to access or use our website or Services after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
